I just lost my "once in a lifetime dog" a black std poodle named Preston, I have had 11 breeds, and 16 dogs. The loss of this dog is tough, never have I felt the loss of someone/something like this. I have a black lad that I hunt with that is sweet and lovable, great dog. But he is not my poodle. I plan on getting another one in the future, but a hunting poodle. I am a poodle person I have decided. There is nothing like them. I hope I find one that is a lovable as my big boy Preston was. What a great dog. I enjoyed your article.
